Description

UPDATE: They've now been named, the one on the left is called a Fossor and the one on the right is called an Anguillam

Help me out, I have to Rahi MOCs here, and I don't have a clue what to name them. Here's some information on them to help you;

The one on the left resides in Po-Koro, it can run very fast and uses it's claws for digging and defence.

The one on the right is NOT a bird, it's a fish, it resides in the seas of Ga-Koro, it can swim rather quickly and is a carnivore.

The both share similar genetic qualities, but are not related.

It's good to see that you've broken away from standard Lego skeletons! Rahi MOCs no less. You'll want to avoid using masks as Rahi heads, since their status as a predetermined character makes it difficult to accept that it's actually a Rahi you've made. I've always said that heads are the most important area of any Rahi MOC, since without a mask to hide behind, it's the head that determines its character. Would you mind if I present the next few points in a quickfire manner (or if I promote myself in the process)?

- Colours: Make them consistent, because right now the gold heads look really out of place. For MOCs as small as this, the fewer the colours, the better. Only on larger scales can you afford to have multiple colours, since you can really do stuff with it. rahiden.deviantart.com/art/Bio…
- Shaping: Vital for any non-humanoid, since you have to define the new structure. If the one on the right is a fish, look at pictures of fish and try to copy it; aquatic animals are generally rounded and streamlined, and definitely don't have circular fins. rahiden.deviantart.com/art/Bio…
- Posing: The left one has claws, but the angle of this photo makes it virtually impossible to tell what shape they are. Choose an angle that shows off your MOC in a way that complements them, not one that makes their claws look like sticks.
- Names: Relatively unimportant ;)

Anyway, hope that helped.
