LAST STORY
All the teams run into each-other on the deck of the Skybase
Sonic: Wait what?
Shadow: What's going on here?
Vector: What the? What are all you guys doing here?
Sonic: Dr. Eggman contacted us telling us to take care of Metal Sonic who had taken over his robots, we got this chaos emerald from him.
Shadow: That's impossible, we chased Metal Sonic here from one of Eggman's bases to here in order to get this chaos emerald
Amy: But... we were also chasing Metal Sonic, we came here to find he'd rebuilt ZERO to guard THIS chaos emerald, we got it back to give to you Sonic.
Mighty: Now wait just a minute, we were hired to track down a robot that stole a chaos emerald from the Central City bank, and that thief turned out to be Metal Sonic, as a matter of fact, Vector...
Vector drops Metal Sonic's body in front of the teams.
Silver: That's the Metallix we were chasing! We were trying to destroy it so it wouldn't become the Metal Overlord that rules the future! We got this chaos emerald from him.
Sonic: Wait, did you say "Metal Overlord?" Hey, you don't think...
???: Hmmhmmhmmhmmhmm
Everybody turns around to see standing over them is...
Neo Metal Sonic: Long time no see Sonic! You all fell right into my trap! I brought you all here, and now your data will be mine!
Sonic: Not if we have anything to do with it, let's get him!
The group charge toward Neo Metal Sonic, but containment fields trap each character.
Neo Metal Sonic: HA HA HA HA! You foolish meat bags make this too easy! These energy fields are taking your data as we speak, this combined with the power of the seven chaos emeralds will make me the world's most supreme being once more, and you won't be able to stop me this time!
Sonic: But we only have six emeralds, where's the...
Neo Metal Sonic produces the seventh emerald.
Neo Metal Sonic: Thank you for bringing me the final emerald Ultimate Life Form!
Neo Metal Sonic reaches into the containment fields and takes the emeralds from everyone.
Eggman wakes up and sees what's going on. He grits his teeth, stand up and runs over to a workshop. Inside the workshop he puts on his mech suit, the two spherical robot "team mates" activate, Eggman comes out the workshop, charges in the direction of Neo Metal Sonic and the level begins.
Dr. Eggman
Abilities:
Speed mode: Homing Attack (X, X) Egg Tornado (X, [ ]) Charge (Hold [ ], then release)
Fly mode: Flight (X, hold X) Thundershoot ([ ]) Arm cannon ([ ] with no partners)
Power mode: Punch ([ ]) Fire Dunk (X, [ ]) Parachute (X, hold X)
Team Blast: Eggsplosion, one of the two robots turns on it's Fly mode electric field and the other one turns on it's Power mode fire, Eggman poses while the two robots spin around him at high speed. The after-effect of this makes the two robots automatically attack and one-hit kill any enemies for the amount of energy left in the gauge.
Now equipped with his suit, you play as Eggman and make your way back to the trapped teams, taking out robots along the way, up until you reach the containment fields, where you'll attack the weak point of the containment field generator. Releasing Team Paradox and initiating the cutscene for phase 2.
Neo Metal Sonic notices what's happening.
Neo Metal Sonic: Eggman, are you trying to defy me again? No matter, ATTACK THEM METAL SONIC TROOPERS!
A large door opens, copies of Metal Sonic march out, Neo Metal Sonic runs inside as more march out.
Silver: Oh no, it's starting... NO! I'm not going to let this happen!
In phase 2, playing as Team Paradox you must continue to take down the Metal Sonic troopers until you can build up Team Blast, use it when you get it, this will activate the weak points on another containment field generator which you must break to release Team Rose, repeat this process through to Team Chaotix, Team Dark and finally Team Sonic, the release of Team Sonic will initiate phase 3.
The ground starts to shake and the teams struggle to balance. A giant machine shaped like Neo Metal Sonic sitting on a throne rises out of the ground.
Silver: No, that's the Metal Overlord! We're too late...
Sonic: No, we're not! Let's take it down now!
Metal Overlord: All living things kneel before your master!
In phase 3 you are underneath the Metal Overlord playing as Team Sonic, it drops bombs and Metal Sonic clones around you, avoid the bombs and ignore the Metal Sonic clones, the other teams under CPU control will deal with them, you need to focus on the lines of Metal Flappers, these are guarding the chaos emeralds, homing attack these then keep attacking the chaos emerald until it breaks loose, continue this until you got all seven emeralds back.
The Metal Overlord rises up into the sky.
Metal Overlord: I have already taken the power I need from the emeralds and I still have all your data, you cannot defeat me!
Sonic, Shadow and Silver look over at each other, they knowingly nod their heads, they take in the power of the chaos emeralds and turn super, they fly up after the Metal Overlord to start the final phase.
TEAM SUPER
Abilities:
Super Sonic: Homing Attack (X, X) Light Speed Attack ([ ])
Super Silver: Flight (X, hold X) Thundershoot ([ ]) Psychic Knife ([ ] with no partners)
Super Shadow: Chaos Spear ([ ]) Chaos Blast (X, [ ])
Team Blast: The Ultimate Power, Silver forces Metal Overlord to hold still, Sonic charges into his weK points and Shadow uses a massive Chaos Blast.
Final Boss: Metal Overlord
Metal Overlord follows an attack pattern of shooting a crystal attack at Team Super, which is countered with homing attack, a spine rocket attack which must be countered with Thundershoot, Psychic Knife, or Chaos Spear, and finally throwing a battleship at the team, which must be countered with Chaos Blast. Repeat this countering until Team Blast is ready, hit Team Blast five times to destroy the Metal Overlord. Every second cycle of attacks, Metal Overlord will use Chaos Control to freeze time, holding you in place, rapidly spinning the control stick will reduce the amount of time you stay frozen.
Metal Overlord falls through the sky, explosions happening all over the body. Team Super hover down to the deck of the Skybase and power down. The rest of the characters run up to them.
Sonic: It's over, Metal Overlord is no more.
Everybody cheers and whoops, Eggman discreetly picks up the chaos emeralds and tries to sneak away, Sonic looms over and sees this.
Sonic: And just what do you think YOU'RE doing?
Eggman tries to run away, but Sonic runs up behind him, spins around him, making him dizzy, Eggman falls to the ground and Sonic gathers up the emeralds himself, he runs back to the others, looks around, and distributes the emeralds, giving one to Tails, one to Knuckles, one to Shadow, one to Amy, one to Vector, he offers one to Silver, but...
Silver: No, you keep them in the present, you might need them again someday.
Sonic nods and gives this one to Knuckles as well, keeping the last emerald for himself.
Sonic: Okay, I think it's time we got out of here, let's go.
Everyone runs toward the edge of Skybase and jumps over the edge. Sonic holds on to Tails' hands as he flies down, Knuckles glides down, Rouge and Omega glide down with Shadow standing on Omega's back, Amy holds Cream's hand as she flies down with Big using the Umbrella descent, Charmy carries Mighty while Vector carries Espio using the Bubblegum descent and Silver flies down while holding Blaze and Marine with his Psychokinesis. The screen fades to black and fades back in with all five teams running across Seaside Hill.
Sonic: Now didn't I say this would be another amazing adventure? YEAH! We're Sonic Heroes!
The screen freezes as everybody jumps into a pose.
ROLL CREDITS.
In a post credits scene, Neo Metal Sonic, who is missing his lower torso, is seen crawling to the body of a mostly unscathed Metal Sonic trooper, he puts his hand on the machine, pulls out a USB cable and inserts it into the head of the trooper. Neo Metal Sonic drops to the ground, dead. We zoom in on the eyes of the Metal Sonic Trooper, they turn on...

Metal Knuckles: Punch ([ ]) Fire Dunk (X, [ ]) Triangle Dive (X, hold X)
Team Blast: Metal Fusion, Metal Sonic and Metal Knuckles transform into an exosuit piloted by Tails Doll, the exosuit shoots out lasers like Omega's. The after-effect of this grants the team a Shield power-up and the ability to perform the Light Speed Attack for the amount of energy left in the gauge.
